I am creating this club to provide deviants with the abbility to post reviews on manga and anime. To join add this club to your watch list and I'll add you to the clubs list... also please put the club in you sig to insure it grows.


The process is simple.

Just send a note with a reveiw and a rating (1-5 ie...

= n.n so good (if you were dictator of the world everyone would be requried to read/watch... OR ELSE )

= bravo well worth my time and money and probably worth yours as well

= I had the money, I was bored and now I'm not ^.^

= that was a waste of my time

= why the hell did I subject myself to this torture).

Be sure to say why you rate it as such. Also include info such as what genre it is in. Also sum up your review with one sentence...

Or if some one has already reviewed something you can just add a comment to the report (one or two sentances- if you want to do a review then do a reveiw- don't just leave a coment) also include a satr rating to adjust the average...

If you have something to correct on a reviews info just send a note with the title correction.

Also to help the club grow add it to your friends list and put it in your sig.

If all goes well a nice data base should be built up... I know this is a terrible way to go about reviewing stuff (DA isn't specificaly made to do this) but I wanted it to be DA based... YAY

FLCL(anime) is 6 episodes long and at first, is very confusing- though, with each episode the series becomes less confusing and more fun and because its so short its a nice series to watch a couple of times to pick up on all the subtle details (there are a ton of little things that seem meaningless but in fact are very important... ... >.> this is comming from an AP english person *sigh*). It is very well animated and has some nice battle scenes and good special effects. The music (PIllows) is realy good too. The japanese voice acting is actualy terrible compared to the English voice acting so I realy recomend watching it dubbed the first time(I usualy watch animes subtitled but in FLCL case it was much better dubbed- especialy haricho's voice) The humor is mostly based on irony, allusions, and blatent and subtle sexual inuendos (how ever you spell that ) while the plot is driven by character development and some drama. Two thumbs up...

I say buy it or burn it for sure...

Manga Rating

FLCL(MAnga) is two books long and makes no sense whatsoever until you read it several times. This is due to the fact that the story is somewhat written in flow of thought style so it jumps around chronologically. The art is very styalistic -one could say it sucks, but from an artistic stand point I think it adds a lot to the manga ^.^

If you have the money and are looking for an enertaining read, go ahead and pick it up
